What does Kajaki Malinowski do?

We organize kayak trips on the Drwęca River and on the lakes of the Brodnica Lake District. We offer kayak rental (single-, two- and three-person Finder kayaks), life jackets, paddles and comprehensive logistical support (delivery of equipment and participants, pick-up after the trip).

Where is your headquarters located and in what area do you operate?

Our headquarters are located in Brodnica. We operate on sections of the Drwęca River (various start and finish points) and on the lakes of the Brodnica Lake District (including Wielkie Partęczyny and the lakes in the Brodnica area).

Do I need to book in advance?

In the summer season we recommend booking in advance due to high demand. For groups and companies, booking further ahead guarantees availability of dates and equipment.

How can I change or cancel a reservation?

For changes or cancellations contact us as soon as possible by phone or email using the contact details provided. Details about cancellation terms and any fees are arranged individually.

What routes do you offer and how long do they take?

We have many sections of the Drwęca: for example Topiele → Nowy Dwór ~14 km (ok. 3,5 h), Nowy Dwór → Brodnica ~16 km (ok. 3,5–4 h), Brodnica → Golub‑Dobrzyń ~48 km (ok. 10 h). You can find more routes and durations at https://kajaki-brodnica.pl/trasy/.

Do you organize multi-day trips?

Yes. We offer one-day trips, multi-day trips and custom programs — clients choose the number of days and sections, we provide transport and logistics.

How to choose a route for beginners?

For beginners we recommend shorter, easier sections with a gentle current. When booking, inform us if you lack experience — we will advise on a route appropriate to the group's abilities.

What kayaks do you provide?

We rent Finder kayaks: single-, two- and three-person. The equipment is modern, comfortable and regularly serviced.

What is included in the rental price?

The price of a one-day trip includes a kayak, a life jacket (personal flotation device), a paddle and transport (according to the offer). For multi-day trips the price includes a kayak, life jackets and paddles — transport is charged separately if required.

Do you provide additional equipment, e.g. waterproof bags?

Yes — we offer a waterproof bag for 10 zł. Other additional services can be agreed on when booking.

Is a life jacket mandatory?

Yes. Life jackets are mandatory and provided in the rental price. Before departure we carry out a short training and briefing.

What should you bring on the trip?

Bring a phone in a waterproof case, a waterproof bag for documents, spare clothing, water and snacks, sunscreen, a head covering and lightweight footwear that stays on your feet. For longer trips increase your supplies of food and drinks.

How should you behave at obstacles on the river?

Keep a safe distance from fallen trees, branches and pillars. At more difficult spots slow down, inspect the obstacle from a safe point and discuss how to pass it with your companions.

How to check the weather before a trip?

Before setting off check the weather forecast — avoid going out during storms, strong winds or sudden worsening conditions. In case of bad weather consult the organizer.

Can children participate in the trips?

Yes — the trips are suitable for families with children, provided safety rules are followed and the route is adapted to the youngest participant. A child must have a properly fitted life jacket.

Which routes are best to take a child on?

Choose shorter, calmer sections with the possibility of frequent breaks. Before booking inform us of the child's age — we will advise on the safest route.

What else should be taken on a trip with a child?

Extra water, easy-to-eat snacks, sunscreen, a head covering, a set of dry clothes and additional first-aid supplies if needed.

What forms of corporate team-building do you offer?

We organize one-day and multi-day team-building trips; we provide equipment, transport, logistical support and additional attractions: bonfires with a grill, competitions and field games, a 360 photo booth and VR attractions.

How many people can you accommodate during a corporate event?

We serve small groups of a few people as well as larger groups of several dozen people — we will match the number of kayaks and logistics to the size of the group.

Do you help plan the team-building program?

Yes — we help choose the route, logistics, security measures, organize meal breaks and additional team-building attractions and competitions.

How much does a one-day trip cost?

One-day trip: two-person kayak 70 zł/os., three-person kayak 70 zł/os., one-person kayak 90 zł/os. The price includes a seat in the kayak, a life jacket, a paddle and transport (according to the offer).

What are the prices for multi-day trips?

Multi-day trip (price per day): one-person kayak 2–3 days 80 zł/dzień, 4–7 days 70 zł/dzień, over 7 days 65 zł/dzień. 2- and 3-person kayaks: 3-person 2–3 days 100 zł/dzień, 4–7 days 90 zł/dzień, over 7 days 80 zł/dzień.

What are the additional costs?

Transport of kayaks and guests: 3,50 zł/km. Bonfire: 150–250 zł. Lifeguard: 400 zł. Waterproof bag: 10 zł. Details and availability are agreed upon at booking.

Do you transport participants and kayaks to the start?

Yes. We provide transport of participants and kayaks to the trip start and pick-up after the route ends (transport fee charged at the agreed rate 3,50 zł/km, if applicable).

Where can you start or end the trip?

Possible start/finish locations include Brodnica, Golub‑Dobrzyń, Nowe Miasto Lubawskie, Zbiczno, Elgiszewo, Pusta Dąbrówka and other points indicated in the route descriptions. Exact locations are arranged at booking.

Do you offer transport from distant locations?

Yes — we organize pick-up from various locations. Transport costs are arranged individually (standard rate 3,50 zł/km). Please contact us for a quote.

What attractions can be visited during the trip?

In the area we recommend the Castle in Brodnica, the Brodnica Lake District Landscape Park, the ‚Żurawie Wyspy’ reserve, Lake Wysokie Brodno, the Museum and Ethnographic Park in Wtelno and flooded gravel pits. All attractions are described on the kajaki-brodnica.pl website.

Can you combine the trip with nature watching?

Yes — the Brodnica Lake District and sections of the Drwęca are ideal for birdwatching, landscape photography and encounters with wildlife. The ‚Żurawie Wyspy’ reserve is a special place for observing cranes.

Do you organize meal breaks and bonfires?

Yes — during trips we can plan meal breaks in scenic spots and an evening bonfire with a grill (bonfire cost from 150 zł).
